ABOUT US

Lanark County Support Services is a non profit charitable organization that provides support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Almonte, Carleton Place, Perth and Smiths Falls.  Since our inception in 1981, we have continually strived to enrich the lives of individuals in our Lanark County Communities who have developmental disabilities. We are sponsored by the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital.  We are funded by the Ministry of Community and Social Services.

Over the years the type of support and services we provide has evolved and grown to meet the ever changing needs, goals and wishes of individuals and their families who have chosen to receive support from or organization.

Today, we are able to offer a broad spectrum of supports that are person-directed, flexible and increasingly more individualized – inevitably resulting in an improved quality of life.  We share pride with the people we support in their incredible accomplishments and the meaningful contributions they are making in their communities.
